Jump Start Sports provides camps for children ages 6-12 that focus on cooperation, teamwork, sportsmanship, understanding the importance of recreational game play, the benefits of physical activity and summertime fun. We utilize innovative drills, competitions, and gamesto help teach children at their level of skill and understanding. Our fun-oriented and highly instructional camps createan atmosphere that enables children to learn, grow, make friends, and have a meaningful summer experience. Each day features a full-camp game in the morning, skill instruction in the day's sport, and afternoon recreational games and activities.

World Cup Soccer
June 22nd - June 26th (#75901) REGISTER HERE!
Campers have a blast learning foot skills, passing, shooting, defending, goalkeeping, and team concepts. We'll play fun, age- appropriate drills and games to help teach fundamentals and improve their soccer abilities throughout the week. Every day, players will participate in small sided games, culminating in a "World Cup" tournament at the end of the week. Campers will also have fun making a team t-shirt for their country!
Lacrosse
June 29th - July 2nd (No camp July 3rd) (#75899) REGISTER HERE!
Boys and girls can learn to play one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. All equipment will be provided in this highly instructional program. Players will receive training on the fundamentals, including passing and catching, fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning, and defense. Plastic sticks and soft balls are used. No checking will be permitted! At the end of the week, players will participate in a fun "NCAA Championship".
Ultimate Warrior

Looking for a fun fitness challenge? Age-appropriate and safe activities specifically designed to challenge, inspire, and excite. Games and tasks include obstacle courses, relays, tug-of-war, and many other entertaining activities designed to teach cooperation and teamwork.
Olympics
July 13th - July 17th (#75900) REGISTER HERE!
The Olympics are coming to North Potomac! Children are group by age, choose a country and learn about a wide variety of Olympic sports, including track and field, soccer, team handball, hockey and more. Campers make a flag to carry at the Closing Ceremonies and Presentation of Medals.
Basketball
July 20th - July 24th (#75896) REGISTER HERE!
Players have a blast learning the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, defense, and rebounding in a fun-oriented program that utilizes creative team and individual drills and games. Campers participate in a number of fun competitions, including free throw, hot shot and 2-on-2. The week culminates in a fun 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament!
July 27th - July 31st (#75903) REGISTER HERE!
Children are introduced to the sport of track and field in a fun-filled environment. Campers are introduced to stretching, movement, agility and techniques. Campers are able to sample a variety of events and learn the beginning fundamentals of throwing, jumping, sprinting and distance running. Campers will put it all together at a Jump Start Sports track meet at the end of the week.
Flag Football and Cheer
August 3rd - August 7th (#75898) REGISTER HERE!
Campers learn pass patterns, pass defense and other aspects of football in this fun program that emphasizes teamwork and sportsmanship. Teams play games all week and compete in a fun Super Bowl. Cheerleaders learn a variety of cheers, jumps, kicks and movements. We'll also play fun cheerleading games and learn one or two
cheer dances. Campers will decorate uniforms to wear and pom-poms to use at an exhibition on the last day.
College Days
August 10th - August 14th (#75897) REGISTER HERE!
Have a blast learning about and playing a wide variety of college sports including flag football, basketball, soccer, volleyball and more. Campers make a school pennant and t-shirt and wear their school colors to demonstrate their school spirit.
